Isn’t it amazing how electromagnetic wave was discovered?
I have been wondering how the first physicists thought about it.
What causes the electromagnetic wave to be generated, then travelled, then eventually received?
I just realized special relativity. Stationary electric fields are just stationary because of our frame of reference! Somebody moving will not see them purely as electric field, but magnetic fields! Magnetic and electric fields are the same! The idea is kinda like how those toys from our childhood where an image is visible when you move it but not when viewed from a different angle!
