Decision on buying pc, switch or ps5
For gaming alone, I’ve decided to just use switch because at this stage I am not yet a hardcore gamer, just looking for a new hobby.
I’d like to get the best enjoyment for money ratio; a relatively high enjoyment gained using a low amount of money.
it is very expensive to choose pc, despite it being multipurpose. However, I am not really using it for those purposes such as video editing or windows based software engineering. I thought of using it for c++ or c# development but then just thinking about things, everything is on the web! You don’t need to create specific platform dependent software. For c++, I can just call it on linux for calculating jobs. For graphics, I’ll just use web based graphics for now.
Also for gaming, to get the same performance as ps5 would cost almost twice for pc. Also need to pay for windows license! Also need to spend again for multiplayer. However, we can then use a controller for pc games right?
So second best option if I really like gaming would be ps5 since its also good for multiplayer.
